Summary

Join a dynamic team as Scaffolding Engineer in the Engineering Team Area Europe, supporting the implementation of Scaffolding business as a strategic focus area within Europe. Develop technical designs and structural analyses, provide technical advice, and engage with clients and local country teams.

Requirements

• Scaffolding engineering experience and track record with international civil projects
• Strong design skills in AutoCAD 2D and ideally also 3D Software's such as Revit or Tekla
• Working knowledge and interpretation of Statics software packages
• Strong ability to read, interpret and understand structural and architectural contract drawings
• Proven track record in developing engineering design concepts and translating to customer needs
• Engineering Diploma/Degree (construction, structural, civil, mechanical) is a plus
• Ability to conduct advanced statics calculations is a plus
• Shoring experience in conjunction with Scaffolding is a plus
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and work well within deadlines
• Ability to solve problems using technical proficiency, strategic thinking and strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of customers’ needs and high customer orientation
• Excellent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs and structural analyses from quotation to order processing projects across Europe
• Provide technical and commercial advice for projects with a focus on cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Operations, Support) to advance business performance, productivity and customer satisfaction - to ensure the engineering solutions are safe and economical
• Act as contact point in terms of scaffolding technical knowledge and product expertise within the Area Europe
• Support the Country Engineering Teams to develop competence in terms of scaffolding by mentoring, training and guiding the teams on the different stages of the design
• Engage with clients and local country teams whenever needed
• Partner with our Business Unit Scaffolding to ensure the implementation of the cooperate set standards and collaborate on product development and technical documentation
