Remote Scientific Application Analyst

Summary

Join Zifo as a Scientific Application Analyst for the LATAM region to design, implement, and support scientific applications, including LIMS and ELN. Work closely with clients to gather requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Scientific Background such as Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Technology, Informatics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in application configuration or implementation in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
• Good understanding of one or more industry domains: Biopharma, Biotech, Chemicals, Health, Food, etc
• Strong understanding of scientific workflows and laboratory processes
• Experience with LIMS, ELN, and other laboratory informatics solutions is essential
• Proficiency of one or more coding languages. Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish
• Experience working in manufacturing / pharmaceutical Environment (GxP)

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements from clients to tailor scientific applications to their needs
• Develop and implement solutions using LIMS, ELN, and other informatics platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution
• Review / Test / UAT components and other deliverables. Evaluate and mitigate technical challenges during implementation and customization
• Understand configuration management process. Provide ongoing support and training to users to optimize application performance
• Lead, coordinate and run independently Demos and Workshops with clients
