Join Data Ideology as a Contract Scrum Master and act as a servant leader, coaching Agile teams in navigating the complexities of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Lead the implementation and understanding of Scrum/SAFe, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and promote continuous improvement. Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, supporting resolution of impediments and managing team dependencies. Define and track key Agile metrics to measure team performance. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments, and strong knowledge of SAFe principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. The position is remote, offering flexible hours to meet client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices
- Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile tools and practices (Azure DevOps, Jira)
Responsibilities
- Lead/Coach the implementation and understanding of the Scrum/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across teams and departments
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (PI Planning, ART Sync, Daily Stand-up/Team Sync, Sprint/Iteration Planning, Review, and Retrospective) to ensure communication and alignment across the team
- Promote and support the continuous improvement of the team's processes
- Work closely with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and teams to ensure alignment with SAFe principles
- Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, encouraging a culture of transparency and open communication
- Support the resolution of impediments and blockers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Manage team dependencies by working with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders to identify and to ensure smooth delivery of features and capabilities
- Define and track key Agile metrics to measure team performance and project success
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Scrum Master certification (SSM) or equivalent a plus
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to guide teams through complex situations
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address challenges and conflicts effectively
- Data and Analytics experience a plus
- Healthcare experience a plus
