Summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development, strong Agile knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Proficient using Microsoft tools (Teams, Visio, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about continuous improvement and Agile practices
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Processes: Guide the team(s) and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
- Sprint Planning & Execution: Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement and retrospectives
- Remove Impediments: Actively work to identify and remove any impediments that might hinder the team’s progress
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and support continuous improvement within the team and the organization. Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Collaboration & Communication: Foster a transparent and communicative environment, ensuring that the team collaborates effectively with Leadership, customers and other teams
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and communicate team, sprint and release progress using appropriate metrics and reporting tools
- Mentoring & Coaching: Coach team members on Agile practices and principles, helping them understand their roles within the Agile framework
- Adherence to Agile Practices: Ensure the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
