Summary

Join our fully remote agile development team as a Scrum Master and contribute to delivering high-quality software components. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, support team problem-solving, and identify process inefficiencies. As a servant leader, you will foster continuous improvement, drive team performance, and coach team members. You will also perform project management tasks, track progress, and assist with release planning. This temporary contractor role (1 year, possibility of extension) requires bilingualism (French and English) and strong agile experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in remote team environments and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development teams
  • Solid understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and team coaching skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Experience in remote team environments
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and agile principles
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
  • Support the team in resolving complex issues and removing impediments as a coach and facilitator
  • Identify and address process inefficiencies; influence change both at the operational level and with external stakeholders
  • Actively lead and support process improvement initiatives as a servant leader within the team
  • Perform project management tasks such as coordinating resources and activities, planning, and scheduling
  • Track and report on team progress, sprint metrics, and performance against established goals
  • Assist Product Owners and teams in release planning and maintaining version/sprint backlogs
  • Foster a safe, trusting team environment where concerns can be raised without fear of blame or retaliation
  • Help the team meet project objectives while maintaining alignment with broader business goals
  • Develop agile mindsets within the team and coach new Scrum Masters to build capabilities across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with technologies such as Single Page Applications, REST APIs, JSON:API, RPAs, and scripting is a plus
