SDET Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and significantly contribute to automating processes for assessing a real-time communication system. You will work to remove bottlenecks, improve system performance and reliability, and contribute to continuous delivery and observability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, evaluate existing technologies, promote process improvements, and shape standards and best practices. Provide expert guidance to project teams, playing a fundamental role in driving performance assessment and improvements. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a SDET and/or Software Developer with good programming skills (ex. Python, Scripting, JS, Java, Ruby, Go)
• Strong experience with Testing (Manual and Automation)
• Experience with Manual/Automation testing Web and API technologies
• Experience creating, maintaining, and working with test automation tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools (Robot, k6, Testing with JS)
• Experience with testing and delivering SaaS products
• Able to connect best practices with the daily activities

Responsibilities

• Create custom tools and frameworks to support test automation, using modern development and test automation frameworks as needed
• Feel comfortable architecting strategic solutions for overall testing efforts
• Ability to identify the best framework for the task at hand
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation frameworks/tools (Playwright, Cypress)
• Experience with Real-Time communication systems
• Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge with Load and Performance Tests
