Summary

The SEM Manager at Vanta will work with the marketing team to develop strategies for driving web traffic and leads through paid search campaigns. Responsibilities include analyzing global paid search campaigns, optimizing ad copies, monitoring competitive landscape, and communicating performance to stakeholders. Requirements include proficiency with Google Suite, deep knowledge of SEM industry, experience with keyword research tools and web analytics, agency experience managing multiple clients, strong analytical, communication, and research skills.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Deep knowledge of the SEM industry and the paid search advertising model
  • Experience with keyword research tools and web analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  • Agency experience preferred with managing multiple clients with monthly budgets ranging between $250,000-$500,000 per client
  • Strong analytical, communication, and research skills
  • Understands the dependencies required for SEM growth and can collaborate with marketing stakeholders on demand generation
  • Has experience managing other paid digital ad platforms and is interested in expanding the scope to other channels since this role isn’t limited to just SEM
  • Has experience managing a high volume of PPC campaigns across multiple countries and will tailor campaign strategies based on local nuances

Responsibilities

  • Analyze global paid search campaigns and drive daily optimizations as needed across bids and keywords
  • Drive short, medium, and long-term workstreams to optimize ad copies, sitelinks, and landing page content for evergreen campaigns and product or campaign expansions
  • Proactively monitor the competitive landscape to continue refining expansion strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with other channels to understand what’s impacting paid search performance and what tactics can be leveraged to influence demand
  • Plan, develop, and implement new paid search strategies to drive site traffic and new qualified leads with a focus on improving CPA and scaling conversion volume
  • Manage Google’s portfolio of Search, Display, Remarketing, and Video media and Bing
  • Communicate with stakeholders regularly to discuss performance, goals, and deliver results
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution through data QA
