Requirements

• 5+ years of proven work experience in the technology industry as a system administrator, platform security or SRE engineer
• Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as a code (terraform)

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing robust security controls to protect critical assets, infrastructure, and data
• Creating innovative solutions to track and manage access to company systems
• Leveraging security tools and automation to streamline security processes, enhance detection capabilities, and improve continuous security testing
• Analyzing security risks and vulnerabilities across the infrastructure
• Implementing and monitoring security solutions to protect systems from unauthorized access and potential breaches
• Developing and automating vulnerability scanning processes for cloud infrastructure
• Resolving complex issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve software development practices
• Contributing to Agile Scrum, ensuring deadlines and production quality
• Develop and deliver security awareness training materials for employees at different levels
• Ensuring that all IT practices comply with regulatory standards. Prepare for audits by maintaining records of IT procedures and compliance measures
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and suggesting improvements
