Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in information security with a focus on government projects or identity management
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001)
  • Experience with identity and access management systems
  • Understanding of government regulatory requirements for identity security
  • Strong technical understanding of security architectures and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyze security risks associated with identity card systems and processes
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design secure identity systems and implement security controls throughout the system lifecycle
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments; report on system vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies
  • Provide security awareness training to stakeholders and team members
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in the Government Identity sector
  • Serve as a point of contact for government agencies regarding security inquiries and best practices
  • Work within a project management framework to ensure timely delivery of security services
  • Engage in incident response planning and disaster recovery strategies relating to identity security breaches
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred
