Security Operations Manager

Summary

Join Spring Health, a leading mental healthcare provider, as their Manager, Security Operations! Reporting to the Senior Manager, Security, you will lead a team of security engineers, manage application security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This fully remote, full-time position requires 8+ years of information security experience and 2+ years of engineering team leadership. You will be responsible for vulnerability management, penetration testing, and driving security initiatives. Spring Health offers a competitive total rewards package including a base salary range of $159,100-$194,150, stock options, and comprehensive benefits. Requirements

• 8+ years of information security experience in a fast-moving, high growth environment
• 2+ years of engineering team leadership experience
• Have a demonstrated track record of building high-quality security programs and cross-functional collaboration within a highly regulated environment
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, HITRUST, FedRAMP
• Expertise across a range of security domains including SIEM, cloud security, endpoint security and access management
• Understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security engineers, assigning projects and prioritizing tasks
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, consulting on security requirements and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
• Drive security initiatives across the organization and mentor team members on securing cloud environments and a remote workforce
• Mentor and guide security engineers, fostering professional growth and development through one-on-ones, coaching and real-time feedback
• Plan team KPIs and monitor progress
• Contribute to the Cyber Security Incident Response Team as a key driver

Preferred Qualifications

• Terraform experience
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, GSLC)
