Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field. Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desired
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, identity and access management, cryptography, and cloud security
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform risk and vulnerability analyses and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Leadership Ability: Ability to lead teams and projects, work independently, and make critical decisions under pressure
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with security regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS, among others

Responsibilities

  • Security Architecture Design: Develop and maintain security architectures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure, applications, and data
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation measures
  • Implementation of Security Controls: Define and oversee the implementation of technical and administrative security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and identity and access management systems
  • Security Review and Audit: Perform periodic security reviews and audits to ensure the effectiveness of security controls and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (IT, Development, Legal, etc.) to ensure security solutions are appropriate and do not interfere with business operations
  • Security Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Knowledge Update: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in information security and evaluate their potential application within the organization
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of security architectures, policies, procedures, and incident reports
