Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferable ideally within life sciences, or related field
  • A-level minimum requirement
  • 5 years+ experience in Account Management/Project Managements roles, within a healthcare or medical communications agency is essential
  • Expert in Medical Affairs project types and deliverables
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts, as well as industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic and commercial insights to align with their objectives
  • Have a deep understanding of therapy area, product and market, ensuring deliverables support client goals
  • Lead account teams, ensuring seamless project execution and high-quality outcomes
  • Mentor and support client services teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and contribute to organic growth
  • Monitor budgets, profitability, and key financial metrics to meet recovery objectives
  • Ensure adherence to industry guidelines (ABPI, EFPIA) and internal compliance standards
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess quality, timelines, and resource needs
  • Lead client onboarding and regular review meetings to drive satisfaction and future work
