Join Aledade as the Senior Director of Communications, overseeing internal and external communications teams and partnering with the SVP to shape strategic direction. You will serve as the deputy communications leader, providing oversight for cross-functional committees and coordinating communications efforts. Responsibilities include team management, strategic planning, and operational leadership, ensuring alignment between daily execution and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 15+ years of progressive communications experience (including 8+ years of people management), and exceptional communication and leadership skills. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Communications roles, including 8+ years of people management experience
Responsibilities
- Manage internal, external, and customer communications teams, including staff check-ins, task prioritization and delegation, and assisting with strategy and tactic planning and execution
- Serve as a spokesperson when needed and plan and monitor communications activities across customers, employees, and external stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional communications efforts, including participation in company-wide committees and command centers
- Serve as deputy communications leader for the organization
- Conduct strategic and operational planning and management to ensure alignment between daily execution and strategic goals and objectives; oversee the use of planning calendars, analytics, measurement, and team reporting to assess impact and adjust as needed
- Provide operational leadership, including team leadership development activities such as staff meetings and retreats, and budget planning and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely
- Exceptional attention to detail, both in messaging and in written documents
- Expertise with various communication channels for effective dissemination of information
- Proven success in a senior role of a Corporate Communications function in a high-growth environment
- A track record of fostering a work environment known for collaboration, alignment, accountability, and trust
- Familiarity with the health care ecosystem and value-based care
- Ability to think beyond their immediate team and contribute to making Aledade holistically better (active engagement in DE&I efforts, culture initiatives, facilitating training, leading roundtables, etc.)
