Summary
Join Liftoff's Demand team as a Senior Account Director to drive revenue growth, expand the team, and collaborate on product and creative innovation. Lead strategic marketing and sales initiatives, oversee senior sales managers' performance, and collaborate with executive leadership. Direct cross-functional teams, mentor emerging leaders, forecast revenue, and synthesize customer feedback. Build strong client relationships and contribute to program roadmaps. This role requires 12+ years of digital advertising sales experience and a strategic sales approach. It's eligible for full-time remote work in several US states, with occasional in-person team gatherings.
Requirements
- Typically requires 12+ years of experience in digital advertising sales with a strategic and consultative sales approach with focus on building long term partnerships with a Bachelor's degree (or 6+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or a minimum of 4+ years of experience with a PhD)
- Mobile performance and programmatic advertising sales experience
- Track record of setting and meeting ambitious targets through motivating Sales teams to consistently overachieve
- Proven ability to mentor and coach team members to improve and develop them into the next generation of leaders and sustain an industry leading Sales team
- Top interpersonal skills and EQ skills; adept at working effectively with key internal and external decision makers
- Great communication skills, both written and in-person as you will be representing Liftoff in public forums
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing and sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across multiple verticals
- Oversee the performance and professional development of senior sales managers and directors, fostering a high-performance culture within the team
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to shape company strategy and identify new market opportunities
- Direct cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and achievement of business objectives
- Mentor and guide emerging leaders within the AM team, preparing them for future leadership roles within the organization
- Forecast revenue and manage a pipeline of potential and current business
- Synthesize customer feedback and help inform the product roadmap
- Be a self-motivated problem solver with outstanding attention to detail
- Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting; leveraging our Sales pipeline and identifying new market opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Supply, Finance, and Legal) to structure deals that maximize revenue for all constituents
- Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key points of contact with clients
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Contributes to successful completion of specific program roadmaps and individual projects
- Works on problems requiring analysis and evaluation of intangibles, and reviews and approves the work of others, as needed
- Possesses extensive expertise and applies unique knowledge of the functional area (e.g., Accelerate, Demand, Monetize, etc.) to oversee effective solutions to complex issues

- Base compensation will vary based on the candidate's location and experience
- The following are our base salary ranges for this role does not include the bonus potential: SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $160,000 - $190,000 Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $147,000 - $165,500 All other cities and towns in our approved states: $136,00 - $153,000
