Summary

The job is for a Senior Accountant responsible for improving and maintaining external and regulatory reporting processes at Circle, a financial technology company. Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant
• 4+ years of relevant work experience, including public accounting and industry specific experience

Responsibilities

• Support the overall accounting function and help strengthen and develop the Company’s financial and regulatory reporting processes across our domestic and international entities
• Perform analysis and research related to various reporting requirements and build sustainable processes to comply
• Draft and maintain external reporting and regulatory reporting policies and procedures and partner with various stakeholders to operationalize
• Present external reporting and regulatory requirements, relevant communications, and analyses to the accounting and finance team in a clear and concise manner
• Implement and educate accounting teams of necessary changes to adopt and comply with new reporting and disclosure requirements
• Evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company’s accounting policies and processes, including ensuring compliance with US GAAP/SEC and other international accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate reporting and regulatory knowledge sharing and transfer across the organization
• Assist with special projects and other ad hoc assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SOX 404 and internal control over financial reporting
• Experience with Workiva or similar reporting system
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP

Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500
• Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%
