Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Requirements

• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 4+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Experience with medium or large ERP systems. NetSuite experience is desired, including experience in AP and Purchase Order modules
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel (basic formulas), Word, and Outlook
• Strong work ethic: consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• A 'customer service' attitude when working with internal and external business partners
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and must be detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Receive and process vendor invoices, including standalone invoices, invoices against purchase orders, and credit memos
• Manage vendor onboarding process, verification, and maintenance
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals on invoices and purchase orders
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
• Distribute credit card statements, collect receipts, and reconcile transactions
• Assist with refund payments
• Assist with employee expense reimbursement
• Provide support to external and internal business partners via phone, email, or chat
• File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents
• Assist with monthly status reports and monthly closings
• Assist in various compliance reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience is a plus
• Work experience with a US company and multi-entity company is preferred
• Experience with Concur is a plus
