Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in product design, with experience in complex or enterprise-level software, is essential
• A compelling portfolio showcasing sophisticated UX solutions, information architecture, and design for developer tools, SaaS, or enterprise products
• Deep understanding of user problems and the ability to propose creative, practical solutions
• Strong verbal and visual communication skills to effectively share design concepts with diverse audiences
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong skills in end-to-end design, with the ability to translate complex technical flows into simple, intuitive user experiences
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to advocate for user experience and align design solutions with business objectives. Working collaboratively with product people to balance user needs and business benefits, and to iteratively deliver work
• Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma and other relevant software to create high-quality design artifacts
• Ability to utilize user research, data analytics, and success metrics to inform design decisions and ensure solutions deliver customer value
• Ability to prototype and iterate to make interactions easy to use, content easy to understand and to validate user experiences before development, either in code or using tools such as Swift UI, Origami, or ProtoPie
• Experience designing experiences that adapt dynamically based on user behavior, such as personalized product recommendations or dynamic content delivery
• Experience in designing intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that help users make data-informed decisions
• Expertise in designing systems that process and interpret data, enabling products such as: Assistants or co-pilots, Sentiment analysis tools for customer feedback, Chatbots and conversational interfaces, Summaries of complex data to support users to make decisions or take action, Diagnostics, Personalization or recommendation systems, Predictive analytics, Data visualizations incorporating AI insights, Anomaly detection
• Experience in designing for comprehension, and trust in the results of the AI summary or analysis
• Bridging the gap between design and technical teams by translating abstract AI concepts into functional, user-friendly designs. Ability to work with engineers to understand how ML algorithms and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) can be used to drive user experiences
• Awareness and understanding of fairness and privacy in AI systems

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping and final execution, for our AI analytics product
• Leverage user research, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring a seamless user journey from discovery to engagement. Develop intuitive interfaces and workflows for AI-powered analytics, ensuring users can seamlessly explore, act on, and trust insights
• Work within a Lean UX environment to quickly prototype, test, and refine ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Partner with engineers, product managers, researchers, and other designers to align priorities, functionality, and user needs
• Present design solutions clearly to stakeholders at all technical and nontechnical levels. articulating the "why" behind your design decisions
• Create fast prototypes using a variety of tools to validate hypotheses or evolve design or content
• Tackle systems-level problems with numerous interconnected constraints
• Consider how AI can support navigation and AI, and evolve current paradigms
• Simplify complex AI models and machine learning outputs into actionable visualizations, dashboards, and reports
• Stay ahead of advancements in AI, data visualization, and product analytics to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for AI-powered tools or workflows for SaaS or B2B businesses
• Experience in working in a fast-paced startup or scale up
