Senior Ai Solutions Engineer

Summary

Join Devtech, a global digital innovation company, as a Senior Backend Engineer focused on AI. You will design and develop backend systems supporting AI functionalities, building and maintaining high-performance infrastructure. Collaborate with a team to implement Java-based backend systems for cloud-based AI solutions. Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Python
• Solid understanding of AI technologies and architectures, such as Transformer models and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) and Parameter Efficient Fine Tuning (PEFT)
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve AI-powered backend applications
• Implement backend systems in Java that support cloud-based AI solutions, with a focus on performance and scalability
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, and agile development activities
• Contribute to ongoing technical design and architecture discussions
• Mentor and provide guidance on AI best practices to team members across the organization
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Developers, and DevOps engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks for AI (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• A good understanding of CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Proficiency with Java
