Summary
Join Everbridge, a global leader in critical event management, as an Analytics Engineer. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, designing, implementing, and optimizing data models using dbt. This mid-level role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build dashboards and conduct analysis. You will leverage tools like Tableau or Power BI and ensure data accuracy and reliability. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, and strong proficiency in dbt and SQL. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, etc.)
- Have 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a related role
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in dbt (data build tool) and experience with dashboard-building tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Possess knowledge of SQL and database management
- Show proficiency in git version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)
- Possess excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models using dbt to support analytical and reporting requirements
- Transform raw data into meaningful and accessible formats for analysis
- Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant platforms
- Conduct in-depth analysis to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on data modeling, analytics goals, and dashboard design
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformation processes, and dashboard development
- Document code and processes to ensure transparency and ease of collaboration
- Perform thorough testing and validation of data models and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with other tools in the Modern Data Stack (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch)
- Possess domain knowledge in one of the following: Financial analytics, Marketing analytics, Product analytics
- Have an understanding of data governance and security principles
- Be able to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment
