Senior Analytics Engineer

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, etc.)
• Have 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a related role
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in dbt (data build tool) and experience with dashboard-building tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Possess knowledge of SQL and database management
• Show proficiency in git version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)
• Possess excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models using dbt to support analytical and reporting requirements
• Transform raw data into meaningful and accessible formats for analysis
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant platforms
• Conduct in-depth analysis to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on data modeling, analytics goals, and dashboard design
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformation processes, and dashboard development
• Document code and processes to ensure transparency and ease of collaboration
• Perform thorough testing and validation of data models and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with other tools in the Modern Data Stack (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch)
• Possess domain knowledge in one of the following: Financial analytics, Marketing analytics, Product analytics
• Have an understanding of data governance and security principles
• Be able to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment
