Senior Application Tech Analyst

Summary

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Possess 8 or more years of technical experience with midrange platforms or Local Area Network
• Have 3-5 years of technical or functional experience with core systems
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance
• Take proactive steps to ensure system availability
• Ensure proper backup and recovery processes are implemented
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues
• Document system changes
• Analyze effects of upgrades and releases
• Recommend hardware and software changes
• Participate in development of system enhancements
• Provide technical leadership and time frame estimates during project planning and implementation
• Work with end users and Application Analysts to evaluate system use and requests
• Lead and participate in disaster recovery exercises surrounding the planning and activities required to ensure full system restoration

Preferred Qualifications

• Have healthcare knowledge or experience
• Possess project management experience
• Hold certificates within operating system administration software
