Join Teneo's Strategy and Communications Digital team in the Middle East as a Senior Associate. You will provide high-quality service to clients, driving activity across multiple account teams and delivering insights. Responsibilities include horizon scanning, digital audits, supporting digital communications planning, and supporting account and client management. You will also contribute to new business development and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience in digital communications within an agency, a strong understanding of the regional digital media landscape, and exceptional communication and project management skills. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, journalism, political science, law, public policy, international relations, business, digital marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a strategy or communications role, specifically in digital communications within an agency
  • Strong grasp of digital communications, especially social media platforms and channels
  • Experience offering client counsel at the appropriate level, based on in-depth insight of client’s business and sector
  • Deep knowledge of wider corporate reputational or market issues arising
  • Strong ability to grasp clients’ business objectives and relevant wider industry dynamics to enable drafting of messaging and communications materials
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

  • Analysis and data visualisation skills
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Responsibilities

  • Horizon scanning– keep abreast of trends and the digital environment for emerging news, platforms, and technologies that could be of strategic importance for clients. Proactively identifies opportunities to advise clients on areas that impact online reputation and digital engagement opportunities
  • Digital audit and advisory – lead the creation of digital audit reports that evaluate client’s presence on digital platforms. Present findings to clients and advise them on implications for future strategy, planning and engagements
  • Supporting digital communications planning and implementation activities – research, ideation, content creation and copywriting, and advisory work to support digital communications activities. Project management of with client and internal teams, including creative teams
  • Supporting account management - supporting all client account activities, monitoring and reporting on progress and flagging issues, mentoring Executives and Associates on accounts, supporting PMO activities. Takes ownership for specific deliverables in their entirety
  • Supporting client management - building client relationships, managing and communicating updates on workstreams, proactively identifying opportunities or areas of concern
  • Supporting new business development - starting to build network of client relationships, supporting senior members of the team with new business proposals e.g. conducting research and developing insights to support the proposal building process
  • Build strong client and team relationships
  • Provide support and insight to your client teams, proactively highlighting opportunities, and potential areas of concern
  • Build a strong network of effective relationships internally and externally
  • Proactively seek formal and informal learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth and contribute to the sharing of learnings across the wider team
  • Actively coach and mentor Executives and Associates on your account teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the region and regional digital media landscape is preferable
