Summary
Join Cover Genius as an Associate Talent Manager and own recruiting for the customer/support department. Manage all hiring, coaching hiring managers, managing recruitment logistics, identifying and engaging potential candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Streamline candidate communications, source candidates, manage recruitment data, and contribute to improving sourcing and recruitment strategies. Work closely with hiring managers, evaluate and engage inbound candidates, proactively source candidates, maintain a candidate pipeline, schedule interviews, conduct phone screens, manage candidate communication, and act as a project manager for the hiring team. Assist in developing recruitment metrics and reports, provide insights to improve processes, maintain the applicant tracking system, assist in preparing job descriptions, and manage job postings. When needed, assist with hiring core roles in North America.
Requirements
- 3+ year of experience in a recruitment role
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as, but not limited to, Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms for candidate sourcing
- Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., social media recruiting, Boolean search)
- Good understanding of effective recruitment process
- Experience project managing the hiring process
- Experience managing hiring managers through the recruitment process
- Competency in handling administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling interviews, coordinating travel arrangements for candidates, and maintaining recruitment records
Responsibilities
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific role requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Evaluate and engage with inbound candidates
- Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates through various sourcing channels
- Maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates for future hiring needs
- Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics to ensure a smooth recruitment process
- Conduct initial phone screens with candidates
- Manage communication with candidates, providing information and updates regarding the recruitment process
- Act as project manager, managing the hiring manager and hiring team through the recruitment process
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers
- Assist in developing and maintaining recruitment metrics and reports
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring candidate information is up-to-date
- Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and managing posting jobs on various platforms
- When needed, assist with hiring of core roles in North America - this may include scheduling and sourcing support or fully managing roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge of recruitment metrics and how to use data to inform sourcing strategies is preferred
