Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing at a B2B SaaS company
- Expertise building content and email marketing and using data to measure results and optimize
- Understanding and experience using Pendo (or similar)
- Experience working with software product organizations and a deep understanding of operating in a tech environment
- Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and customer support best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Keen ability to translate complexity into simple, clear communication and approach
- Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with other departments, especially with creative teams and marketing automation platforms
- Passion for B2B SaaS and the target market's challenges
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
- You think from a userβs point of view and want to get better at it all the time
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, sales, customer success, and channel teams to understand their specific needs and knowledge gaps, and develop a deep understanding of the target market, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences and differentiates us from competitors
- Test different channels (email, in-app, SMS, etc) and messaging strategies to see whatβs most effective
- Craft compelling sales enablement materials, including battle cards, product presentations, and one-pagers
- Serve as an advocate for our customers; demonstrating broad expertise and empathy for customer pain points
- Drive cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process to ensure a seamless customer experience, tracking success metrics accordingly
- Leverage points throughout the customer journey (onboarding, KB articles, etc) to ensure customers get the most out of their product experience and drive awareness of the upsell products. Create training materials and resources for CS and channel partners to ensure product mastery
- Track and analyze product marketing performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing a product with features similar to Steer (e.g., Text & Email Messaging, Online Scheduling)
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and methodologies
