Summary
Join SentinelOne as a Sr. Staff Atlassian Engineer and help define the process and tooling architecture. Spearhead the development and customization of the Atlassian Suite (Jira, JSM, Confluence), implementing third-party tooling and integrations. Regularly review and assess tooling, identifying areas for improvement. Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and driving projects. Mentor junior and mid-level developers. This role combines architecture, development, stakeholder, and project management, requiring technical leadership and expertise in the Atlassian Suite.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with development, scripting, and customization in the Atlassian Suite of products, particularly Jira, JSM and Confluence
- Skilled with development and scripting in languages such as Python, Java, Groovy, and JavaScript
- Experience integrating enterprise tools such as Salesforce and Workday with Jira
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a varied audience. You must be able to navigate discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with ease
- A strong understanding of business processes and a keen focus on aligning processes and tooling to gain efficiencies, enhance visibility and improve productivity
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects, gather and prioritize requirements, and lead cross-functional teams toward a common goal
- A knack for troubleshooting and identifying potential challenges or roadblocks, coupled with the initiative to proactively address them
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment, recognizing the value of diverse perspectives, and promoting accessibility for all users
- A commitment to staying up to date with the latest developments, best practices, and updates in the Atlassian ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Help define process and tooling architecture
- Spearhead the development and customization of our Atlassian Suite, focusing on Jira, JSM and Confluence, ensuring they cater to our organization's unique needs
- Implement third party tooling and drive integrations between the Atlassian Suite and other business critical systems in support of Product & Technology related processes
- Regularly review and assess the state of our tooling, identifying areas for improvement, streamlining, or further customization
- Act as a bridge between our engineering, product, and various other cross-functional teams
- Gather requirements, drive projects, and ensure our tools are optimized for collaboration and efficiency
- Act as a subject matter expert in all things Atlassian, offering guidance, best practices, and recommendations to enhance our utilization of the suite
- Responsible for project management aspects of larger tooling projects
- Maintain clear channels of communication with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that everyone is kept in the loop and understands the capabilities and limitations of our tools
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers to help foster technical growth, instill a customer-centric mindset, nurture talent, and provide guidance to help elevate the team’s capabilities

- Salary from 5500 EUR/month
- Yearly variable target bonus depending on the performance of the company, paid out in 2 installments
