Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Artemis Health as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a key role in building and scaling our data platform. Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering focused on backend development
• 3+ years of experience with (Scala or Python) and Spark
• Proficiency in functional programming concepts
• Experience maintaining deployment pipelines or K8S
• Experience with distributed systems tradeoffs
• Delights in beautiful, elegant, and readable code
• Experience with SQL
• Ability to pause and critically think about problems
• Driven to improve software practices

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fast Spark data pipelines
