Summary

Join our team as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a key role in building and scaling the systems that power our seller platform. You will work within an autonomous squad, developing infrastructure and services to enable seller success. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs, creating robust solutions for complex challenges, and building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in developing and deploying highly scalable applications and APIs, deep knowledge of the NodeJS ecosystem, and extensive experience with AWS services. Requirements

  • Strong experience developing and deploying highly scalable applications and APIs in production environments
  • Deep knowledge of the NodeJS ecosystem and its associated technologies
  • Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code
  • Strong foundation in database design and management, particularly with relational databases
  • You're an ambitious problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • You communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively in autonomous teams

Responsibilities

  • System Architecture: Designing and implementing highly scalable backend services and APIs that power our seller tools, from shipping integrations to AI-driven features
  • Technical Innovation: Creating robust, maintainable solutions for complex seller-focused challenges while ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Infrastructure Development: Building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that supports our growing seller ecosystem, ensuring high availability and scalability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with frontend technologies (VueJS, React)
  • Expertise with NestJS framework
  • Proficiency in GraphQL API development
  • Experience with AWS Typescript CDK
  • Knowledge of document databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Experience with AWS Data Pipelines (Glue, SageMaker)
