Summary

Join Cantina as a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain key modules of their AI messaging router backbone, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities. Requirements include proven experience in developing and operating large-scale backend systems, Go in production environment, and familiarity with relational databases.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and operating large-scale backend systems
• Go in a production environment (minimum 4 years)
• Strong familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with designing and maintaining large-scale messaging and/or event-driven architectures

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key modules such as timing mechanisms, intent detection, memory and routing as part of our distributed go service
• Manage the full lifecycle of these services, from testing for robustness to deploying in a high-load, production environment
• Ensure maintainability, scalability and reliability of the service
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including founders to integrate AI capabilities, such as LLMs and other microservices

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of Generative AI principles, inference techniques, and prompt management
