Senior Business Analyst

Summary

Join Form3's Platform Infrastructure team for a 13-month maternity cover opportunity as a Business Analyst. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and clients on complex projects throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements to implementation. You will gather requirements, create documentation, assist with planning, and translate customer needs into engineering specifications. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with cloud infrastructure, and proven stakeholder management. The position offers the freedom to shape your role and is fully remote, with an office available for in-person collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience creating functional and non-functional requirements and top-quality specification documents
• Experience working with private cloud and/or public cloud infrastructure teams
• Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience building relationships in remote, cross-functional teams
• Ability to support stakeholders through the full lifecycle, from initiation to implementation
• Confidently work with the business and external clients to determine requirements for new systems, services, or products
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative

Responsibilities

• Liaise with other business lines to gather requirements for new features and change requests
• Create internal and customer facing product documentation
• Assist the engineers in planning monthly maintenance work
• Work with the Vendor Management team to create vendor risk profiles
• Translate customer requirements to relevant engineering specifications
• Analyse infrastructure costs and produce meaningful costs insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on a cloud-native multi-cloud platform
• Some technical understanding of cloud connectivity and messaging
• Understanding of technical risk in the context of a Payments platform
