Summary

Join INDG โ”‚ GRIP's Finance team as a Senior Business Controller and take ownership of Business Control over two operating companies. This role focuses on driving improved business performance by building and improving reporting processes to support the company's growth. You will report directly to the Finance Director and collaborate with two Business Controllers. The primary responsibility is enhancing reporting methodology and system environment for both operating companies. This position requires a strong background in business controlling and a proven ability to implement solutions. INDG | GRIP offers a remote-work environment and a diverse team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Business Controlling or roles in similar areaโ€™s like FP&A
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Languages: English, fluent in speaking and writing

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage the performance measurement dashboards
  • Ensure consistent and reliable reporting of sales figures
  • Prepare and review weekly & monthly WIP reporting to support sales unit leaders
  • Monitoring of project based margin and variance analysis vs forecast and budget
  • Execute ad-hoc analyses and reporting
  • Advise and challenge commercial teams on customer offerings based on profitability analysis
  • Drive optimisation and improvement of processes, standardisation of reporting and insight-driven analyses
  • Review commercial contracts to ensure risks & opportunities are understood
  • Identification of value drivers
  • Revenue & cost recognition policy and implementation. Provide updates where necessary
  • Analyse and propose improvements to the current system set-up
  • Provide input for an anticipated project management tool migration
  • Drive the implementation of automated reporting solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s degree in finance, economics, or business administration. In addition a professional qualification like AICPA / CIMA or local equivalent (possibly qualified by experience)
  • Professional service industry experience
  • Sound knowledge of revenue and cost recognition principles
  • Experience in identifying contractual performance obligations
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience with Sales Force
  • Resilient self-starter who identifies problems and implements solutions
  • Demonstrated ability of influencing & challenging (senior) stakeholders
  • Team-player who can work in a structured manner and prioritise effectively
