Requirements

  • Have several years of experience in New Business Development
  • Possess a high likability factor and lots of energy
  • Have at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working
  • Have affinity with IT and marketing
  • Have excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
  • Be a true team player
  • Have a strong understanding of people and insight into how businesses operate
  • Have a good grasp of the general dynamics in a conversation between a buyer and a seller
  • Not be afraid to reach out to (potential) customers by phone
  • Be energized by working with deadlines and targets

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that directly contribute to Copernica’s growth
  • Play a strategic role in entering new markets and expanding our customer base
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
  • Follow up on leads, give demos, and negotiate contracts before handing customers over to Account Management
  • Engage with prospects from leading companies, helping them optimize their marketing automation strategies
  • Continuously improve the sales process and lead generation, increasing efficiency and implementing smarter solutions
  • Provide valuable feedback to our product team, ensuring ongoing improvements to our software and services
