Summary
Join the Arbitrum Foundation as a Senior Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in South Korea. This role requires developing and executing business development strategies, identifying key opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners, and leading the sales process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent Arbitrum Foundation at industry events. The ideal candidate is a native Korean speaker with extensive enterprise connections in South Korea and a strong understanding of blockchain technology. Requirements
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles, with a focus on the South Korean market
- Extensive network of contacts within the enterprise sector in South Korea, with demonstrated ability to leverage these connections for business opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation
- Fluency in both English and Korean languages is required
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies tailored to the South Korean market to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals
- Identify and prioritize key business opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth, particularly within the enterprise sector
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business expansion and collaboration
- Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and legal, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in South Korea to inform strategic decision-making and market positioning
- Represent Arbitrum Foundation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) is highly desirable
