Summary

Join Longbow Advantage as a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst and play a leading role in designing and implementing metrics based on client requests. You will be responsible for developing data extractions, leading solution configuration and quality assurance, and troubleshooting data-related issues. This fully remote position (Canada or USA) requires strong analytical and technical skills, experience with SQL and at least one major supply chain software system, and a Bachelor's degree. Requirements

  • Knowledge of at least one major supply chain software system: Blue Yonder (formerly JDA), HighJump, Manhattan, SAP etc
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Operating systems โ€“ Windows and UNIX
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related University degree
  • Ability to work independently as well as multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible hours, and shifts
  • Strong written and oral English

Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role in designing and implementing metrics based on clientsโ€™ requests
  • Be responsible for developing data extractions through data mining and data analysis
  • Lead in solution configuration and quality assurance
  • Assist in troubleshooting, resolution of data related issues as well as optimization of SQL queries
  • Establish clear objectives for implementation and prioritize customer needs to achieve customer expectations and ensure user adoption of the software
  • Participate in peer review and give feedback on SQL queries, metrics optimization/data integrity/visualization
  • Provide technical training to clients as needed
  • Configure solutions to meet customersโ€™ requirements
  • Document solutions pertaining to customer set up, visual metric building and SQL query development
  • Maintain a code repository for the Rebus team
  • Retrieve data from clients and manage data clean up
  • Comprehend, analyze, and solve highly complex technical problems involving system functionality, architecture, and relational databases
  • Meet with team members to configure and implement clientโ€™s requirements
  • Comply to policies and practices related to Longbow SOC2 compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MongoDB (aggregation pipeline) or another NoSQL database
  • Experience working with APIs
