Summary

Join Arine, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, as a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer. Reporting to the Reporting and Analytics Manager, you will translate business needs into technical specifications and build BI solutions, improving existing systems and ensuring data accuracy. Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality data-driven products. Mentor junior colleagues and provide user training on BI tools. Maintain a single source of truth for organizational metrics and stay current on BI trends. This remote role requires a private workspace and high-speed internet, with occasional on-site meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
  • Proven ability to act autonomously, take initiative and be innovative
  • Strong knowledge of BI tools and software such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc. (strong preference for Quicksight)
  • Expertise in database management and data modeling, with a strong command of SQL
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and stakeholders, including leading on requirements gatherings and report development
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally to define analyses, objectives and deliver analytical results
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, prioritize multiple projects, and solve problems under tight deadlines and limited resources
  • Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States
  • An established private work area that ensures information privacy
  • A stable high-speed internet connection for remote work

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehousing
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format
  • Build and maintain data models to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the data
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Assume a leadership role in collaborating with teams of analysts and engineers to deliver high quality data-driven products and act as a mentor to junior colleagues
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities
  • Building and maintaining a single source of truth for metrics used across the organization
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data used for analysis
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends and technologies in BI, data analytics, and data visualization to improve our BI capabilities continuously

Benefits

The salary range for this position is: $135,000-$150,000
