Summary

Join Clari's Finance and Accounting team as a BI Developer/Analytics Engineer and transform raw data into actionable insights. You will develop and maintain dbt models, design SQL-based data models in Snowflake, and build ThoughtSpot dashboards. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility. This fully remote position, based in Poland with occasional travel to KrakΓ³w, requires 5+ years of SQL experience, proficiency in Python and Snowflake, and experience with BI tools like ThoughtSpot. You'll leverage your expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and dbt to empower business stakeholders with self-service analytics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL for data transformation and modeling
  • Experience with Python for automation and data manipulation
  • Proficiency with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Experience working with ThoughtSpot or other BI tools for visualization and self-service analytics
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and performance optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset
  • Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for analytics workflows
  • Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering for BI projects

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dbt models to transform and structure data for analytics and reporting
  • Design, build, and optimize SQL-based data models in Snowflake to support business intelligence needs
  • Develop and maintain ThoughtSpot dashboards and self-service analytics capabilities for business users
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure high-quality, reliable, and well-documented data models
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across reporting and analytics solutions
  • Enable business stakeholders with adoption of self-service analytics using NLP solutions in ThoughtSpot
  • Define and implement best practices for analytics governance, security, and efficiency
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions
