Join Arlo Solutions as a Senior Business Analyst supporting the IRS DCIO of Strategy & Modernization! This remote position is crucial for analyzing and improving IRS business processes, focusing on IT infrastructure, customer service, enforcement, and taxpayer security. You will optimize processes aligned with the Inflation Reduction Act's Strategic Operating Plan, designing and developing operating models, conducting market research, and facilitating performance metric tracking. A minimum of 8 years of business process analysis experience and a Bachelor's degree are required. Advanced certifications are preferred. The role involves stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and contributing to executive communications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business process analysis and improvement
- Bachelorβs degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience in process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Demonstrated experience in federal IT modernization initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with organizational assessment and change management
Responsibilities
- Analyze current delivery processes, operations, and policies to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the implementation of process and policy enhancements to improve efficiency
- Design and develop a product-and-platform operating model for IT, including a proof of concept and final version
- Conduct market research and stakeholder interviews to gather insights for process design
- Assist in developing and maintaining program management plans and schedules
- Support risk identification and the implementation of mitigation plans
- Facilitate the development and tracking of IT performance and business value metrics
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments to identify the effects of process changes
- Support communication and organizational readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes
- Provide inputs for executive communications and briefings in alignment with the Communications Strategy & Plan
- Analyze impacts, identifying opportunities for improvement, and reengineering processes to improve efficiencies and meet program objectives
- Evaluate, track, and provide recommendations on improving data quality and practices for portfolio management tools
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certification in business process management (e.g., CBAP, Six Sigma)
