Summary
Join DigiCert as a Senior Channel Sales Engineer and play a crucial role in building a partner ecosystem. You will develop a deep technical understanding of DigiCert solutions and architecture, educating partners to drive sales. Responsibilities include building partner confidence, analyzing market needs, creating documentation, and providing training. This remote position requires extensive experience in presales/technical sales or consulting in cybersecurity or PKI, along with relevant certifications and strong communication skills. The role involves travel to partner sites and industry events.
Requirements
- 8+ yearsโ work experience in a presales/technical sales or consulting in cybersecurity or PKI
- Industry Recognized Networking or Information Security related certification (CISSP, CISM, Security+, Network+ etc)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and confidence in presenting to large groups of people
- Bachelorโs degree or higher (preferably in systems management, computer science or cybersecurity)
- Hands-on experience with common IT systems found in enterprise environments (Windows, Linux, Mac, AD/AAD/LDAP, routers, load balancers, SSL inspection devices, web servers, VPNs, etc.)
- Experience working with Cloud technologies and providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc)
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
- Firm understanding of cryptographic concepts in IT environments: symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, hash algorithms, digital signatures, HSMs, etc
- Familiarity with Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and related components
- Understanding of PKI including CA deployments, template/profile creation, and certificate lifecycle management
- Large enterprise IT consulting, administration, or support experience
- Experience working with APIs
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Channel Team to build specific enablement plans for high focus GTM partners and Distributors
- Build the product skills of solution architects and technical representatives of partners
- Run training and enablement sessions with partners to increase their confidence in DigiCert solutions and help them position our value proposition to their customers in a competitive landscape
- Present to small and large groups of partner representatives to drive awareness and pipeline development
- Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of DigiCert solutions & architecture
- Provide demonstrations of DigiCert solutions and services to prospects/customers
- Facilitate technical evaluations in conjunction with the Partner for prospective customers in a Proof of Concept (POC) environment
- Assist in response to functional and technical elements of partner RFPs/RFIs
- Assist with the creation of product and/or technical documentation for partner use
- Support Enablement Team with training course/lab development as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with code signing and/or document signing workflows
- Experience working with containerization architecture, platforms and infrastructure (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Cert-Manager, etc.)
