Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with strong public cloud (especially AWS) expertise
  • Deep understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and observability tooling
  • Strong scripting and coding skills for infrastructure-as-code
  • Solid knowledge of server and OS administration
  • Experience leading agile practices and uplifting team capability
  • A customer-centric, data-driven mindset and strong communication skills
  • A strong leadership presence and mentoring capability

Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of cloud and platform engineering activities
  • Managing production and development environments, including updates and cybersecurity compliance
  • Driving automation across infrastructure lifecycle, observability, and disaster recovery
  • Supporting and improving public cloud systems, with a strong focus on AWS
  • Collaborating with digital teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve and prioritise issues
  • Building and maintaining documentation, support procedures, and knowledge transfer processes
  • Participating in long-term strategy and scalability planning across the enterprise
  • Supporting the deployment of software updates, patches, and configuration changes
