Senior Collections Specialist

Summary

The job is for a Senior Collections Specialist at Vanta, where the employee will manage collections, optimize collection procedures, and collaborate with various departments. The candidate should have 4+ years of experience in collections in a SaaS environment, excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience working in collections in a SaaS environment
• Experience working with Tesorio, Zendesk, Salesforce, NetSuite (or other ERP systems), Stripe, and Bill.com

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of collection practices and develop process improvements
• Work with internal sales team and other cross-functional teams as well as outside customers to resolve past due and disputed items
• Perform outbound collections in a professional manner with a focus on customer service while adhering to Company Policy
• Analyze delinquent accounts, prepare weekly reports on high-risk accounts and make resolution recommendations
• Participate in and support systems improvements and focus on streamlining the collection process
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify problems, process gaps and propose reasonable and creative solutions to improve processes including opportunities for automating manual processes or activities within a process
• Participate in ad hoc accounting projects
