Senior Commissioning Engineer

Summary

Join Altanova as a Senior Commissioning Engineer and contribute to meaningful innovation in ambitious new and existing buildings as well as real estate portfolios. This role offers technical leadership opportunities, working alongside engineers, strategists, architects, and designers with diverse perspectives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree (Master’s preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, building science, or a related background is required
• PE license (Tri-state, NY in particular), Commissioning, Retro-commissioning, HBDP, Certified Energy Manager, and/or Certified Energy Auditor accreditations are required
• Experience as the commissioning authority on a minimum of two (2) LEED-certified projects is required
• Successful completion of at least two (2) large-scale retro, ongoing, or monitoring-based commissioning projects is required

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analyses necessary to interpret building operating data
• Independently review and provide technical feedback on construction documents
• Communicate the business value of recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders within client organizations
• Work with cross-functional teams to serve primarily large commercial and residential development projects in the U.S. and internationally
