Summary

The job is for a Commissions Analyst at Cision, responsible for day-to-day administration and analytics of commission plans.   • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years of experience in commissions with experience in administration of sales commission plans
  • Strong knowledge of sales commission concepts, sales data tracking systems, processes and methodologies and has experience working with large volumes of data
  • Strong technical skills and analytical skills. High proficiency of Microsoft Excel required and having knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred
  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Validate, reconcile, and report on all commission calculations
  • Work closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all commission payments and associated reporting
  • Conduct sophisticated analysis of data from multiple sources to build various compensation models for payment calculation or analysis, while ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Perform audits of all data sources to confirm accuracy and functionality of system/process and manage issue resolution with appropriate teams as necessary
  • Provide timely responses and issue resolution, escalating as appropriate, to inquiries from all levels in the organization
  • Execute and create commission training curriculum, content, and materials
  • Identify and support process improvement efforts, while readily accepting new opportunities to simplify and standardize processes
