Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field
- Healthcare communications experience is required (agency or in-house)
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex topics into compelling narratives
- Experience with media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Muck Rack) and developing media reports
- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, industry trends, and media landscape
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent organizational skills
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Google products (Gmail, Slides, Sheets); experience with project management tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update media lists, identifying key journalists and publications for targeted outreach
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights to inform storytelling and strategy
- Manage company social media channels, creating engaging content, monitoring performance, and staying current with platform trends
- Assist in developing compelling story ideas, drafting press materials, talking points, and media pitches
- Contribute to messaging frameworks, FAQs, and thought leadership content that supports key initiatives
- Draft and support the creation of press releases, award applications, and speaking proposals
- Manage a calendar of media, award, and speaking opportunities, ensuring deadlines are met
- Support performance analysis through media monitoring reports, tracking impact and engagement
- Continuously research healthcare trends, media landscape shifts, and opportunities to elevate brand visibility
Benefits
Compensation: $77,400 - $90,900 annually. Salary is based on qualifications, experience, skill set, and location
