Summary

The job is for a Senior Compensation Analyst at Techstars in New York City or Denver. The role involves designing and managing compensation programs, administering all compensation plans, conducting complex modeling and analyses, supporting the Chief Human Capital Officer, and collaborating with other HC team members. Qualifications include 7+ years of specialized experience in Compensation, fluency in human capital system design and management, a Bachelor's Degree in human resources, statistics, economics, finance or other quantitative fields, and Masters Degree preferred.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive and specialized experience in Compensation; must have 3+ years experience in advanced modeling and data analysis that includes synthesis, visualization and presentation of the data
  • Fluent in human capital system design and management with experience with UKG, Pave, Radford, Carta, Greenhouse and/or other compensation surveys, systems, and tools
  • Bachelor Degree in human resources, statistics, economics, finance or other quantitative fields. Masters Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and stand-up compensation processes and deliver and manage compensation programs from ideation to execution
  • Program manage and deliver global compensation projects including the execution of key design changes, complex modeling and analyses, budgeting, and implementation of new programs
  • Design and manage the job evaluation process for the firm and support requests for new or revised roles to determine appropriate salary level assignments aligned with the job architecture
  • Deliver annual compensation processes as part of the performance management cycle in partnership with other members of the HC team
  • Support development of policies, procedures and process documentation as part of standardizing and systematizing compensation
  • Administer all compensation plans from end-to-end including our equity and carried interest plans, in partnership with the finance and legal team
  • Stay abreast of global, federal, and state employment law updates pertaining to compensation compliance and ensure that our internal processes and policies reflect the updates
  • Support the CHCO on analyses and presentations required for the Board and Compensation Committee, and other special projects
  • Make use of market survey data and job classification principles and practices to support the Head of Total Rewards and Operations to develop innovative and creative strategies to attract and retain talent

Benefits

$135,000-$150,000 salary with 10% bonus
