Remote Senior Compensation Analyst

Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst at Grafana Labs is responsible for managing and administering broad-based and executive compensation programs, performing regular benchmarking, driving annual compensation review processes, and ensuring compliance with global compensation regulations. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in a global compensation role, superior analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work remotely or internationally.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a global compensation role
• Experience with Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation preferred
• Must be located in either Central or Eastern time zone in the US

Responsibilities

• Deliver guidance and advisory services to People team and business partners on compensation matters
• Perform regular compensation benchmarking; participate in salary surveys, analyze market and peer group data trends and evaluate impact
• Drive annual compensation review and equity planning processes including timelines, communications, budget, systems/tools configuration and testing, training, reporting and calibration
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding emerging and evolving external market trends in executive compensation
• Support internal and external executive-level compensation offers, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity
• Assist with the preparation of Compensation Committee materials and provide supporting analytics and reports
• Train and enable People team and business leaders on compensation philosophy, strategy, and processes
• Maintain Workday Advanced Compensation module configuration; ensure the system is regularly updated to reflect changes
• Provide analytical support and data analysis, preparing ad-hoc and regular reports
• Conduct strategic analysis of workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations
