Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working with BlackLine or financial close process areas
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization
  • Proficiency in financial systems, including Salesforce and other relevant applications
  • Experience supporting transformation projects and collaborating across teams
  • Understanding of project management and change management principles

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement improvements to financial workflows and reporting structures
  • Assist in managing project activities, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines
  • Work towards becoming a subject matter expert in financial close processes and BlackLine implementations. Financial close sub-process areas include but not limited to: account reconciliations, manual and automated journal entries, consolidations, flux analysis, intercompany, and financial/management reporting
  • Work closely with client teams to define business requirements and solutions
  • Identify areas for process optimization and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Lead/participate in client facing workshops and meetings
  • Create and deploy digital dashboards to understand client’s processes and provide key insights into opportunities for transformation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of professional work experience with Trintech T-Recs
  • Familiarity with FinancialForce or other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or similar process improvement methodologies
