Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management or a closely related field, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing federal and commercial contracts

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
  • Oversee the entire contracts lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners
  • Ensure that contracts are accurately executed according to organizational guidelines and legal requirements, managing all documentation and signature processes efficiently
  • Conduct risk analysis on potential contracts, identifying areas of potential risk and proposing mitigation strategies to senior management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters, ensuring timely review and approval/reconciliation of variations
  • Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training new employees in contractual processes as needed
  • Support contract negotiation, providing detailed attention to financial terms, performance clauses, and legal liabilities
  • Ensure contract renewal, extension, termination, and negotiation processes are managed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop and maintain a database for tracking contracts, ensuring all contract-related information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
  • Stay abreast of changes in contract law and regulations, particularly those affecting federal and commercial contracts, to ensure compliance across all contracts
