Senior Controller

Join Mediabrands, a leading agency group, as a Senior Controller in Hamburg. In this role, you will act as a business partner to agency management, coordinating monthly closings and the budget and rolling planning process. You will manage the financial aspects of the operational agency business, develop and conduct analyses, and improve our key figure system. You will create decision-making templates for management and monitor customer profitability. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in finance, several years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and PPT. Requirements

• Possess a degree in economics in the field of finance and have already gathered several years of professional experience
• Have in-depth knowledge of the business and financial processes of service companies, ideally in international holdings
• Possess an excellent understanding of finance: natural handling of financial figures, key figures, and controlling tools
• Have pronounced analytical, conceptual thinking skills and high self-motivation for the diverse aspects of our business
• Have very good knowledge of Excel, PPT; ideally, you are familiar with Power BI and SAP
• Your profile is rounded off by your excellent language, writing, and presentation skills in German and English

Responsibilities

• Act as a Business Partner for agency management and coordinate monthly closings as well as the budget and rolling planning process
• Steer the financial affairs of the operative agency business on local and international clients
• Develop and conduct analyses, forecast calculations, and continuous cost and profitability calculations
• Be responsible for the expansion and improvement of our key figure system
• Create meaningful decision-making templates for management and the executive board
• Monitor customer profitability, check optimization possibilities, and initiate necessary measures if required
• Design and develop dashboards
