Requirements

• 8+ years experience as a copywriter or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and industry trends
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to develop and maintain content calendars
• Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize email performance
• Experience with using data and analytics to glean insights and inform content decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Working knowledge of WCAG as it applies to email
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Write compelling email marketing content led by a defined strategy
• Cultivate a strong understanding of the client's brand voice and apply it to copywriting
• Collaborate with design and development teams to create cohesive, visually appealing emails that follow best practices
• Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends and best practices
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Clearly and confidently communicate with clients and internal teams
• Provide support, training, and mentorship for junior team members
• Manage 1-2 direct reports
