Summary

Join the HubSpot Customer Insights team as a market researcher and contribute to a rapidly growing organization. Reporting to Product Marketing, you will collaborate with a team of market researchers and data analysts. Your key responsibilities include designing and executing market research projects, conducting statistical analysis, creating reports and presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also monitor industry trends, manage research vendors, and improve research methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses experience in market research within Enterprise SaaS companies, strong data analysis skills, and experience with various research tools. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Experience in market research or customer insights within Enterprise SaaS companies
  • Proven expertise in survey design and research methodologies
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience with SQL, Python or R to conduct advanced statistical analyses
  • Experience with traditional research tools such as QuestionPro or Qualtrics or AI research tools like Outset.ai or Panoplai (Glimpse)
  • Experience using AI platforms to streamline and enhance market research processes (Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini)
  • Outstanding ability to translate complex data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations
  • Experience managing research vendors and working with panel providers
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple research initiatives
  • Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience in data visualization and creating executive-level presentations using tools like Looker, Prezi (Infogram), Canvas, or Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive market research projects from inception to delivery, including survey design, programming, and fielding
  • Conduct statistical analysis and uncover meaningful insights and trends from survey results
  • Create and maintain research documentation, including project plans, timelines, and research calendars
  • Develop clear and impactful reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Monitor industry trends and conduct meta-analysis across multiple research projects to identify macro market opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into effective research plans
  • Manage external research vendors and panel providers to ensure high-quality data collection
  • Continuously improve research methodologies and processes, leveraging AI and emerging research techniques
  • Perform desk research and synthesize insights from multiple sources including UXR and CXM teams

Preferred Qualifications

Background in CRM, Marketing, Content Management, AI or B2B SaaS markets is an added advantage
