Summary
Join AbbVie's Cyber Threat Intelligence team as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, build, and automate components of our secrets discovery program. Leverage your software development skills, cyber intel/response experience, and data analytics capabilities to discover, analyze, validate, and escalate exposed secrets. You will build custom apps to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle and collaborate on multiple cyber intelligence initiatives. Partner with stakeholders across security and technology teams to support sound decision-making. Requirements
- Develop with Python, Go, Elixir, or other similar languages
- Invoke and build custom APIs
- Curate intelligence sources
- Leverage open source intelligence
- Analyze large data sets and use data to support decision-making
- Understand the anatomy of cyber security incidents
- Know current methodologies supporting secrets discovery
- Build and implement apps in a production-like environment
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience OR Master's Degree and 6 years of experience OR PhD and 2 years of experience
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Have exposure to communicating at different levels of an organization
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate new components of our secrets discovery program
- Discover, analyze, validate, and escalate exposed secrets both internally and externally
- Build new custom apps to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle
- Collaborate on multiple cyber intelligence initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders across security and major technology teams to support sound decision-making by providing accurate and timely intelligence
