Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join dbt Labs as a Senior Data Analyst and contribute to data-driven decision-making within the sales organization. You will be the analytics backbone of revenue operations, translating complex sales data into actionable strategies. Partner with sales leadership to optimize account segmentation, improve forecasting, and drive strategic initiatives. This role blends technical and business aspects, utilizing cutting-edge data stack technologies while developing expertise in enterprise sales analytics. You will build scalable analytics solutions and drive revenue growth through data. The position offers a unique blend of technical depth and business impact.

Requirements

• Expert-level SQL skills with experience writing complex analytical queries
• Experience building and maintaining dbt models in a production environment
• Track record of translating ambiguous business problems into analytical frameworks
• Strong statistical analysis skills (preferably with Python)
• Proven ability to communicate complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic sales decisions by developing and maintaining our core revenue analytics infrastructure
• Partner with sales leadership to identify and capture revenue opportunities through advanced pipeline analytics
• Own the development of our sales forecasting models and key performance dashboards
• Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives to optimize sales productivity and territory planning
• Design and implement experiments to test and improve sales processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Looker)
• Background in B2B SaaS sales analytics
• Knowledge of sales operations and CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Experience with revenue forecasting and pipeline analytics
